• Reflective practice
• Newer findings in cognition and learning styles
• Backwards curricular design
FACETS: Stage II
Individual faculty receive funding for projects focused on:
• Continued research on teaching and learning
• SoTL work
• Teaching improvement
• Joint course development
FACETS: Stage III
Participants disseminate:
• Information to peers
• Incorporate methods into classes
• Mentor new faculty
• Facilitate 2nd set of seminars
• Co-teach joint courses developed in Stage 2
