Trifolium arvense; rabbit-foot clover [Fabaceae]  A small annual clover introduced from Europe.  Flowers small, whitish to pink, in dense fuzzy oval heads, becoming cylindrical with age.  Blooms throughout the summer.  Leaf 3-parted with small, narrow, oblong leaflets.  Often forms dense stands in dry, disturbed sites, particularly along roadsides.  [069]
