Final Exam - Physics 115
The final exam will be given as follows:
- You do not need to memorize the physics equations. They will be provided for
you on the exam. You may preview the equations here. You will score better on the exam if you spend the majority of your study
effort on reviewing and understanding the key concepts pertinent to the course.
- The exam will be held in room Science A107 on
Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 2:45pm
- You may work on the exam for the full 120 minutes.
- The exam has two parts that are independent of each other. The physics part is worth 200 points
that comprise 20% of your score in the physics portion of the course. The
speech/acoustics part is worth
[a number to be determined] points
that comprise
[TBD]%
of your score in the speech/acoustics portion of the course. 50% of your final
grade in the entire course will be determined from the physics portion and 50% from the
speech/acoustics portion
of the course.
- The final exam is structured as follows:
- Part I: Physics 200 points
- Problems (4 questions, 60 points)
- True/False (10 questions, 30 points)
- Multiple Choice (22 questions, 110 points) About a third of these require a one-step calculation,
or the use of a ratio, or an understanding of the mathematical connection between variables.
- Part II: Speech/Acoustics ?? points
