Poa pratensis; Kentucky bluegrass [Poaceae]  Ubiquitous perennial lawn and pasture grass introduced from Europe (not Kentucky), with many varieties and cultivars.  Erect, hairless 12-18” stems grow from spreading rhizomes.  Long, narrow dark green leaves are folded when young.  Open, spreading oblong-to-pyramidal inflorescence.  Naturalized and invasive throughout the state.  [041]
