Native perennial herbs with erect,
forking stems.
Leaves alternate, oval to oblong,
mostly above the fork.
Elongated, nodding, 6-parted flowers
in spring.
U. grandiflora flowers yellow, spirally twisted, 1-2” long.
U. sessilifolia flowers cream to pale yellow, smaller and not
twisted.
In forests and clearings.
