Verbena spp.; vervain [Verbenaceae]  Several species, varieties and hybrids of mostly native, annual, biennial and perennial herbs.  Leaves opposite, lance-like and toothed.  Flowers small, blue or white in dense, terminal spikes from mid-summer to fall.  Found in a variety of habitats depending on species.  [126]
