Prunella vulgaris;
heal-all, self-heal
[Lamiaceae]
Variable-sized native perennial – to 20”, but often much smaller
– with square stems and opposite, lanceolate-to-oval leaves.
Small purple to blue, 5-parted flowers with a white lip, borne in
a dense terminal spike in mid- to late-summer.
Found in disturbed sites throughout the state.
