Flowers white or purple; pod 2-3" long
on a very short stalk.
Round seeds 2-4 per pod, globose,
green, brown, yellow, or black.
Leaflets 3, ovate to narrow-ovate,
3-6" long, entire.
Widely cultivated for forage, human
food and oil.
