Arisaema triphyllum; Jack-in-the-pulpit, indian turnip [Araceae] 1-3' tall native perennial herb with a distinctive single inflorescence typically overtopped by 2 compound leaves of 3 leaflets each.  Tiny, yellow flowers on a cylindrical inflorescence (spadix), mostly hidden within the green-and-reddish striped “pulpit” (spathe).  Most common in rich, moist woodland understories.  Flowers in late spring.  [028]
