Insurance - Handset Protection
Recent estimates indicate that more than 20 million wireless phones will be lost, stolen or damaged this year. Replacing your phone will likely cost you more than what you originally paid for it. We encourage you to check out our wireless insurance options. Choose the coverage that works best for you.
Coverage options are based on the equipment you own. For basic cell phones, feature cell phones and the wireless modem, insurance is $5/month. For smartphones, insurance is $7/month.

Insurance Claims:
If you still have your phone, and it was damaged, call the UWSP
Telephone Support Office. We will start the insurance claim process for
your wireless phone.
If your phone is lost or stolen, immediately call the Telephone Support Office 715-346-2562, so that service can be suspended for unauthorized usage.
