The nearest airport is at Wausau, also known as Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA), 20 miles north of Stevens Point.

The two taxicab companies that operate out of the airport are Badger Taxi (715-849-8294) and Midwest Cab & Coach (715-693-2805). You can call in advance to reserve a cab, or ask for one when you arrive. I suggest that when you arrive, you head for the taxi counters located next to the baggage claim area. Chances are there will be some others arriving on flights within the same hour headed for the conference, and you can share a cab which will lower your cost.
You have to arrange for the hotel shuttle by calling the Holiday Inn's local number: 715-341-1340. Please use the shuttle if you are staying in the hotel, as there may not be enough space in the University vans that I am arranging for those staying in the other hotels who have no shuttle.

The Holiday Inn Convention Center is about 15 minutes walk from the University Center where the Conference on Values will be held.
The Country Inn & Suites is located across the street from the Holiday Inn.
The Road Star Inn is next door to the Country Inn & Suites.
When you check-in, look for an information sheet on the counter with directions for walking to the University Center, and a shuttle schedule. The shuttle will run for one hour, at 15-minute intervals, each morning, and another hour in the evening, on all 3 days of the conference. You should wait outside either the Holiday Inn or the Country Inn (Road Star Inn residents, please walk next door), and look for a minivan marked POINTOURS on the side.

When you get to the University Center, enter by the doors on the right-hand side, go down the passage-way on the right of the Bookstore, and up the flight of stairs just before the Food Court. The registration desk is outside the Alumni Room on the second floor. Registration will begin at 10.00 a.m. on April 1.
