Limited Term Employees (LTEs) are hired to work on a temporary basis during peak activity periods on campus, such as the beginning of a new semester, or to substitute for permanent employees who are on extended leaves of absence.
NOTE: The law indicates that an LTE must be a resident of the State of Wisconsin upon appointment -- Wis. Stats. 230.26 (1m) (b).
UWSP continually accepts applications for LTE positions that may occur anywhere on campus during the next six to twelve months. Hourly pay rates normally range from $8.00 to $12.00 per hour depending on the responsibilities of the job. Knowledge of word processing software is required for most clerical positions. Civil Service exams are not required for LTE positions.
Applications will be kept on file for approximately one year and will be referred to campus supervisors as vacancies occur. If you would like your application kept on file longer, contact Anthony Walter in Personnel Services.
