Baby sign language class offered
Learn how to use baby sign language to communicate with infants and
toddlers in a course offered through the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP).
Designed for parents, teachers and caregivers, “First Signs for
Babies” will be held the Mondays of June 15 and 22 from 6:45 to 7:45
p.m. The workshop costs $29 and is sponsored by the UWSP Continuing
Education Arts and Culture Outreach program.
Instructor Kari Stetler, an early childhood educator at UWSP’s
University Child Learning and Care Center, will teach participants
basic signs to use with their child during the first months and
years of their life.
