Aquatic classes offered for adults
The Special Needs Aquatic Program (SNAP) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point offers classes for adults this winter and spring.
The classes are designed for adults with arthritis, older adults looking for a low impact workout or adults with special needs. The second session (16 classes) will be held March 26 � May 17. The cost is $44.
The 45-minute class will be held twice a week on Monday and Thursday in the therapeutic pool in the UWSP Health Enhancement Center, located adjacent to the Quandt Fieldhouse on Fourth Avenue. The Basic Aquatic Exercise class will be held at 8:50 a.m., and the Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program classes will be held at 10:15 a.m., 4:15 and 5:10 p.m.
