Laser light programs to be shown at the planetarium
A series of laser light shows set to rock music will be shown at the Allen F. Blocher Planetarium at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The special shows will be presented at 8 and 9 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 23-26 and March 2-5. The 50-minute programs are open to the public. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for students and $2 for UWSP students with ID. Proceeds support educational activities at the planetarium.
The programs will be shown on a full sky multicolor laser system from Audio Visual Imagineering Inc. "Laser U2" will be shown Wednesday, Thursday�s feature will be "Laser Zeppelin," "Pink Floyd�s The Wall" will be shown Friday and "Pink Floyd�s Dark Side of the Moon" will be Saturday�s feature.
The planetarium is located on the second floor of the UWSP Science Building at the corner of Reserve Street and Fourth Avenue. Parking is available in Lot X near the building entrance. Parking is free in most university lots after 7 p.m. weekdays.
