Make Life Sweeter, a fundraiser for UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) students who have volunteered their time over winter and spring break to work on issues such as poverty, disaster relief, and HIV/AIDS in communities around the country, will be held Wednesday, February 13, in the Alumni Room of the Dreyfus University Center.

The campus and the community are encouraged to stop by from 6 – 8 p.m. to support this effort. Money raised will go directly to students to offset their transportation, lodging and food expenses while they were a volunteer this past academic year.

Students and others can sample treats and desserts prepared by over 20 campus chefs. A few of the confections include cherry cheese fudge, acorn squash cake, mini-berry cream puffs and a chocolate fountain. Coffee and milk will also be available. The cost is $5 and tickets are only available at the door.
