The assistant director of University Relations has been named interim director of Alumni and University Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Jennifer Blum of Iola, a 1990 UWSP graduate with a degree in communication, succeeds Brant Bergeron who resigned to become head of public relations and marketing for St. Michael�s Hospital.

Blum will coordinate both Alumni and University Relations including activities of the Alumni Board of Directors and the UWSP Board of Visitors. She also will be involved with activities in support of fund raising, communication, major events, Student Alumni Association, special constituents and chancellor�s outreach.

She will be assisted by Sarah Otto, Steve Zywicki, Cheryl Bever and Terri Taylor.

Blum formerly served as assistant director of Annual Giving at UWSP and as executive director of the Epilepsy Foundation of Central and Northeast Wisconsin. Prior to that, she was director of education for Family Planning Health Services.

At UWSP she is a member of the Academic Staff Council Awards Committee and the Foundation Campus Appeal Committee.
