Open to the public free of charge

Clarinetist will perform in a student recital at UWSP

Clarinetist Sarah Porwoll of Racine will perform in student recital at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday, March 31.

The concert will be held at 3 p.m. in Michelsen Hall of the Noel Fine Arts Center and will be open to the public free of charge.

Porwoll will perform "Binyang for clarinet and clapsticks" by Ross Edwards, assisted by Kayla Berndt, "25 measures" by Elena Kats-Chernin, "Cut To The Chase!" by Bernhard Crusell, Gerald Glynn�s "Whirlgig and Gorlywhorl," and "Fantasy Trio for clarinet, cello and piano" by Robert Muczynski, assisted by Mara Beckman on piano and Seth Matuszak on cello.

Porwoll, daughter of Thomas and Tamara Porwoll, is a junior majoring in music. She is involved in Phi Kappa Phi and the Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity on campus.
