Stealin’ Strings to perform at UWSP
Stealin’ Strings, a self-professed "bluegressive rock" band, will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Thursday, March 6.
The performance, sponsored by UWSP Centertainment Productions, will be held at 8 p.m. in the Encore of the Dreyfus University Center. Admission is $4 to the general public and free with a UWSP ID.
Rob Shively, Ryan Ogburn and Rob Buehler mix bluegrass and rock ‘n’ roll to produce the sound that is Stealin’ Strings. The band played the 10,000 Lakes Festival in July 2006 and 2007, sharing the bill with the likes of Bob Weir, moe., and The String Cheese Incident. The band also performed for five years running in Milwaukee at "Summerfest," the world’s largest music festival.
