Solution, a rock-funk-jam band, will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) on Saturday, April 12.

The performance, sponsored by UWSP Centertainment Productions, will be held at 8 p.m. in the Encore of the Dreyfus University Center. Admission is $4 for the public and free with a UWSP ID.

Solution began as a trio in early 2005 and grew to a five-piece band a year later. The band members include Adam Colon on vocals and guitar; Corey Boadwine, guitar; John Kelly, keys; Trevor Anema, bass; and Charles Sanders II on drums. The band performs a mixture of many musical elements including funk, jazz, rock, pop and soul.

The group recorded its first full-length album, "Habitat," in 2006 on the Aquarium label. After a national radio campaign and an eight-country tour, Solution released another CD, "This is a Test," in December 2007.
