A two-part dance class for couples will be offered in February and April through Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

The first class is a four-week workshop in swing dancing. Classes will be held at the Health Enhancement Center (HEC) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays, February 14, 21, 28 and March 6.

The second four-week workshop will be held Thursdays, April 3, 10, 17 and 21 and will feature Latin rhythms including the rumba, salsa and tango.

The instructor for both classes is Lenore Haferman. She has a degree in dance and has taught for more than 20 years.
