Host families sought for UWSP German exchange program
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Department of Foreign Languages and International Programs is seeking host families for German college students who will visit Stevens Point from August 7 through 22.
Sixteen to 18 college-age students from Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany, will be part of a student exchange program at UWSP and will attend English language and culture classes during their stay. In addition, the students will tentatively visit a pow wow, the Harley Davidson motorcycle plant in Tomahawk, Wisconsin Dells, the state capitol in Madison, and Lambeau Field and the Packer Hall of Fame in Green Bay.
Host families will receive monetary compensation for providing lodging and some meals.
