Guitarist Tom McComb to perform on campus

Tom McComb, a guitarist and associate lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, will perform on campus on Friday, February 15.

He will perform at the Basement Brewhaus in the lower level of the Dreyfus University Center at 4 p.m. The show, sponsored by Centertainment Productions, is free and open to the public.

A self-taught artist, McComb specializes in jazz and Brazilian guitar music. He performs solo, with his own quartet and with many other Central Wisconsin ensembles.

He teaches jazz guitar majors at UWSP as well as fretted instruments for UWSP’s Arts and Culture Outreach program and the Wausau Conservatory of Music. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in natural resources and a bachelor’s degree in music education, all from UWSP.
