 MEDIA ADVISORY: GEM Critical Issues International Seminar Series begins third season at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point

Who: Kevin Winter, lecturer and researcher at the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. Winter is the lead researcher in the Integrated Urban Water Management Research Center at UCT. He has extensive experience working with community groups and says the key to improving living conditions is in dialog and interaction between communities. In South Africa, building sustainable communities now focuses on addressing legacies of injustice and inequality while strengthening democracy and building trust.

What: GEM Critical Issues International Seminar Series third season begins with lecture, "Helping Citizens Build Sustainable Communities in South Africa."
