MEDIA ADVISORY: UW-Stevens Point’s first live mascot introduced
What: The freshman class of 2008-09 will meet the first live mascot of UWSP, a first for our university, at the Chancellor’s Freshman Picnic.
Who: McKenzie, a two-year English Pointer, was recently adopted from a Pointer rescue in Michigan by a member of the UWSP staff, and will represent the Pointer spirit at sports events and other campus activities.
Where: Lawn in front of Old Main, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
When: Monday, September 1, 12:45 p.m.
