Jeff "Bo" Ellis, '81, Delafield, works more than
6,000 miles from Japan. But just days after a record-breaking
earthquake and tsunami devastated the country, Bo flew there to take
part in the relief efforts.

last fall, continuing a long career with the National Park Service.

Menglun, Yunnan, China,
is working to preserve wild birds in his home country of China. He
recently organized a national bird fair as part of the Chinese New
Year Spring Festival at the botanical garden where he works, and
continues to develop ways for the Chinese people to become bird
watchers and conservationists.

'00, Stevens Point, is again finding success with The Wise Man's
Fear, the second novel in his trilogy, The Kingkiller
Chronicle. The novel was released March 1 and has hit number
one on the New York Times bestseller list in March for
hardcover fiction.

passed away two months later, before it could be illustrated and
published. Recently, his son, Jim Zahn,
