About the Course Developer

This
course was originally created by Ms. Wang Yu (王愉),
who is a native Chinese born and raised in Kunming,
Southwest China. Ms. Wang was a Ford Fellow Graduate Student at
UW-Stevens Point from 2005-2007. As part of her graduate thesis, she
developed, implemented, and evaluated this course: Environmental Studies
of China. Because of the large interest in this subject area, the
course continues to be offered through UW-SP. Although Ms. Wang is no longer
the instructor, she will serve as a guest speaker during this course.
