21th Annual UWSP Jazz Festival

  • Open to all High School and Middle School/Jr. High Jazz Ensembles and Jazz Combos
  • Non-Competitive. 45 minute sessions with two clinicians providing written, verbal and video-taped feedback
  • Master classes given by UWSP faculty 
  • Outstanding Musicianship Awards Presented
  • Fee: $125 per group - Jazz Ensembles or Jazz Combos
  • Special rate of $12 for tickets allows registered participant to attend one performance of Lee Konitz New Quartet (12 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.)  General admission price is $15.

Directions

  • Highway 66 from the West:
    1. Follow Highway 66 east (Clark Street) through four traffic lights
    2. Proceed one more block from the Division Street intersection (Business Hwy 51) to Phillips St.
    3. Turn left on Phillips Street
    4. Park in Lot Q, or north end of lot P
  • Interstate 39 from the East/North/South:
    1. Take the Business Hwy 51 Exit from I-39 (Exit #161)
    2. Follow Business Hwy 51(Division St.) through 3 traffic lights
    3. Turn left on Portage Street
    4. Park in Lot Q, or north end of lot P
  • Highway 66 from the East:
    1. Follow Highway 66 west (Main Street) through seven traffic lights
    2. Proceed four more blocks from the Michigan Avenue intersection to Phillips Street
    3. Turn right on Phillips Street
    4. Park in Lot Q, or north end of lot P
