Sandpipers, rails, gallinules,and coots

Sandpipers wade and feed on muddy shores or mud flats. Their long slender bills are adapted for capturing food. Rails, gallinules, and coots are ground dwelling, marsh or water birds having a duck or hen-like appearance.
