Proposed Activities:
- SAFE training for faculty, staff, residence hall advisors, and students, including information about help and support available for GLBT individuals on our campus
- An organization website with links to resources for GLBT faculty, staff, and students, a calendar of events, and organization contact information
- Bringing speakers to campus to discuss issues relevant to the GLBT community
- Sponsoring a book club and/or film series to explore GLBT issues
- Queer 101: An open forum for faculty, staff, and students to hear stories of coming out and ask questions in a supportive atmosphere
- Distributing buttons to show support for GLBT individuals and issues
- Sponsoring events and activities related to significant GLBT dates, such as Coming Out Day, World AIDS Day, Transgender Awareness Day, etc.
- Creating and sponsoring social opportunities for GLBT faculty, staff, and students
