Eligibility for DPI Scholarships:
|
If you are a student who will be entering the 7-11th grade in the fall of 2011, you are eligible to apply for Exploring Your Talents or TV/Film Production Camps (8th & 9th grade). There are Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Precollege Scholarships available to cover the program cost of the camp. You can apply for a DPI Scholarship if you are eligible for free or reduced school lunch and are a resident of Wisconsin. Most programs require that you have at least a 2.00 GPA in core classes. These scholarships are need-based, and they cover all of the program costs. (Transportation to and from UWSP and personal spending money are not considered program costs, and therefore, are not covered.) Some programs do provide transportation to and from certain cities. |
