Above is a listing of 2011 precollege programs available at UWSP. This is not a complete listing of UWSP precollege programs, but only those that are eligible for Department of Public Instruction (DPI) scholarship and GEAR-UP funding.  All students who are Wisconsin residents and eligible for free or reduced lunch may be eligible for the scholarship program funded by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI).   The scholarship guidelines changed starting July 1, 2005, and students must be eligible to receive free or reduced lunches and have a 2.0 GPA or higher to qualify.   See link above for a listing of ALL UWSP precollege programs.

This program is intended to assist students in their preparation for college. The scholarship will cover all program costs, including health and activity fees. It does not cover transportation to and from the camp, but some camps do provide transportation to and from certain cities.    Students should apply for the DPI precollege scholarships as soon as possible to ensure that they will be considered for funding.

DPI scholarship application forms may be obtained from your school's guidance counselor, Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Program (WEOP) Offices, or call Linda Pluke, Precollege Coordinator for Multicultural Affairs, toll free at
