Fri05Oct2007: We got a second letter from the school district of Munich. This one said to disregard the previous letter, and that Tom may continue to attend the school wher he started. I don't know what caused the change of mind, but it was certainly great news. The students went to Oktoberfest with Willi (the Political Science professor). They sat next to a few guys from Ohio, one of which was very generous. This guy thought that the students looked thirsty, and bought several rounds for the whole group.
Sat06Oct2007: At Oktoberfest, there are a lot of musicians playing on the street corners. Craig thought it looked like a good idea, so this morning we all went and Craig played near a church near the entrance to Oktoberfest. People actually started putting money in his violin case. So, in this way, music turned beer into ice cream. Later, Craig went to a birthday party for a young girl in his class. It was a small party - just five others. We had another nice dinner with Judith and Felix.
