.Sep, 2007: John and Nina made it back from Hamburg. Michael, Richard, Craig, Tom and Andy played Dungeons and Dragons at the hotel.
.Sep, 2007: It was the first day of school for Craig and Tom. It sounded like they understood almost nothing that was being said. It must have been a bit strange.
.Sep, 2007: The students went to the Altes Pinakothek (old painting museum) with Monika. They said Monika pointed out a lot of really cool details about the paintings. In the evening, we all walked to the Englisher Gartens to enjoy the first nice weather we've had in about 2.5 weeks. We played chess, tag, guitar, and statues.
.Sep, 2007: Here is an example of German directness. The warning from the health minister on cigarette packages translates as, "Warning: smoking will kill you." Not many people seem to heed the warning, though.
The students met Peter at the Paulaner beer hall to discuss the upcoming study tour.
.Sep, 2007: The students went to Klartext to talk German with the Klartext ladies, who determined in which course the students should be placed. They we went to a great student cafeteria and filled our bellies with warm, inexpensive food. This evening, all the boys (all seven) played D & D. Many of the students are participating in the "Oktoberfest warm-up" at the hotel.
