Information Technology Work Orders
Use the following links below to request assistance with
university technology needs. This includes university-owned
software, hardware, on-campus network connectivity and more.
NOTE: The Work Order system is only available from computers
connected to the UWSP network.
Entering a Work Order
Here are three separate links to enter work orders. Please read
the descriptions to choose the link that is appropriate.

directions on how to submit a new or track an existing work order.
All UWSP owned computers that are in administrative, faculty,
staff, grad student or other offices should be serviced through this
form. Faculty and Staff should use this work order form when
entering any type of request, except software deployed to multiple
computers. This includes hardware, software and connectivity
problems from on campus or from home. Use this link for any AIS
(Administrative Information Systems) repairs.
You can request software to be deployed via WIndows XP Network Menu,
Windows 7 Application Center or *Run
Advertised Programs, for use on multiple computers. This includes
public and private computer labs, classroom computers, or cases
where special software packages need to be deployed to multiple
computers.
NOTE: Software deployment time depends
on the current workload. Typically, we recommend a minimum two week
lead time for requests. Prior to a new semester start, we recommend
at least a four week lead time for requests.
*Run Advertised Programs is available in the Control Panel on all
Standard Campus Load (SCL) computers and any computer joined to the
campus domain.
All Computer Lab Assistants that need to report a hardware,
software or connectivity problem with equipment in the public or
residence hall computer labs should use this work order form to
report the problem. All contacts for IT supported Private labs
should use this form too.
