Messaging has become a mission-critical communications
tool in the world today and UWSP has a state-of-the art
system that delivers a high-end user experience in not just
email, but using integrated calendaring, contacts and tasks.
UWSP implemented the Microsoft Exchange email system in 1996
and we were the first university in the United States to use
Exchange to deliver email services campus-wise. We maintain
accounts for all employees and for all students, and offer
thousands of up-to-date distribution lists to enhance
communications among our campus community. Additionally, we
continue to add new services to enhance the security and
usability of our messaging environment. Our primary email
client on campus is Outlook, but email can be accessed
anywhere, anytime using Outlook Web Access.
