    Assignments for the Week

    1. Take Quiz in D2L!  The quiz is open from Monday, April 9 at 12:01 a.m. until Sunday, April 15 at 11:59 p.m.  The quiz will cover Chapter 3-Personal Stress Management in the textbook and concepts presented in class last week on financial wellbeing.
    2. Develop a monthly budget and track your spending (every penny paid out in cash, debit card, check, charged!) for 2 weeks for yourself reflecting your living, eating, and discretionary expenditures.
    3. Begin reading chapter 7Relationships and Sexuality for next week.

For the monthly budget use the budget worksheet. If you live in the residence halls, ask whoever pays (e.g., parents) how much it costs and list those costs for room and board for a month.  If you do not pay room and board yourself, list the amount as both a cost and as income since it is being provided for you.

Then, track your spending (every penny) for two weeks using the spending tracker form then answer the questions below:

Assess your budget and expenditures and TYPE insightful comments on how you manage your funds. Are you unnecessarily frugal? Do you overspend in one particular category? Do you pay your bills on time? Would better planning prevent stressful situations at the end of the month? Are there ways you could be saving more? Do you define yourself by how much money you have or not have?

Attach a cover page to your assessment, monthly budget, and 2-week spending tracker. Upload an attachment into the D2L dropbox or place a hard copy in the BOX outside of CPS 210 by Monday, April 30, at Noon.
