Assignments for the Week

  1. Read and take quiz in D2L (open from Monday, February 6 @ 12:01 a.m. until Sunday, February 12 @ midnight).  The quiz will cover Chapter 1- An Invitation to Healthy Change and concepts presented in class about wellness principles.
  2. Complete the Wellness Wheel assignment. To download another Wellness Wheel and get the description of the dimensions go to D2L Content page. 

           After completing  your wheel  look at your diagram and write a brief summary and analysis at least two pages double spaced of what you think your strengths are and why they are strengths.  Also, analyze where you may want/need to put some effort, thought, and energy into improving these areas to have a higher quality of life.  Write about how you might begin to improve those areas. What steps can you take to start?  Becoming aware  of options,  talking with someone knowledgeable, looking  for guidance, doing some things differently, practicing techniques are all kinds of things you may want to consider.

    Upload an electronic copy of your analysis (no need to include the picture) to the Dropbox in D2L  by Monday, February 20 @ NOON)
  3. Start reading Chapter 13 for next week’s quiz.
