COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Special Events - There are 11 people signed up for the CATS trip.  Four of those are classified staff, each bringing a guest.  Three are non-classified.  Kathy will send out another reminder because the due date for the full payment is March 17th.  CSAC may need to re-evaluate this program if a large number of attendees on the bus trips are non-classified.

Tours Will have a Fine Arts tour scheduled the first week of April and will work on a tour of Mail Services for the last week of April.  Looking at a tour to CWES or Mead in May when the weather will be better.

Sargis – Have 12 nominees and the committee is ready to do.  Winner will be chosen by March 28 and everything is going as planned.  Friday is the deadline for letters of support.  Discussion about the fact that not everyone gets email or reads their email.  Difficult to get information out to those people.  Anne and Lin recommend having two CSAC Board people working on Sargis again next year.

Cabinet – Pathways to Point – program offered through the University Centers for incoming freshman.  Todd Kuckkahn – company has been chosen for the feasibility study regarding the capital campaign.  They will help identify major donors.  John Birrenkott talked about the auxiliary budget.  Fees will increase 5.5%, due in part to the UC renovation and the increase in wages.  There will be two commencement ceremonies, 10am and 2pm.  It will be held in the Specht Forum.  Alum Andrew Halverson will be the speaker.  UWSP is planning an open house on April 23, 12-4.
