COMMITTEES
· SPECIAL EVENTS
o STOMP trip was exceptional on all counts.
o Next event (TBD) will occur in late March or early April.
·
o 32 of 325 surveys have been returned. Will resend.
· CAMPUS COMMITTEES have been idle since last meeting.
· CABINET
o Building Utility Conference scheduled for Feb. 10-12.
o University accreditation process to occur soon.
o Budget update: still $425-thousand short.
NEW BUSINESS
· Formalization of CSAC account structure (merging, etc.) will occur shortly – indeed, much had occurred before these minutes were written. This will help organize CSAC accounting. The annual contribution has been received via Greg Diemer.
o A discussion ensued about the Sargis Award, including whether to revise – possibly from year to year – the dollar amount. Research on that and other Sargis details will continue.
o STOMP revenue will be transferred to the account ASAP. It netted approximately $140.
· Research will begin on CSAC recruitment ideas, including the possibility of the Chancellor’s involvement.
· Will begin detailed planning for CSAC regular events for ’06.
· Sargis nominations will soon be solicited via M.O.D. and then direct emails. Lin and Anne are researching how best to do this; there is a list of Classified Staff with 25+ years here, so that might be part of the answer.
o Committee will be formed ASAP.
· Fritz will check if Mission Statement is on website. Email him with any website observations/concerns.
