Would you like to learn more about your woodlands?

The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in cooperation with University of Wisconsin Extension, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Wisconsin's woodland owner organizations has created the Woodland Leadership Institute and Master Woodland Steward Program for woodland owners and enthusiasts to provide for grassroots leaderships and a deeper understanding of forest processes and sustainable forest management.

These programs provide Wisconsin's woodland owners with a unique opportunity to learn about sustainable forest management and to play an important role as leaders in the management of our state's natural resources. We expect program graduate to apply what they have learned in these programs to their own properties and to help their friends and neighbors to do the same.

Our goal is to help Wisconsin's woodland owners take their visions for their woodland properties and make it a reality. We would like to encourage you to join us and be a part of that process.
