About the List of Student Webpages

UWSP maintains a list of all student web pages. When looking for your web page, professors and other people may check this page first. Click on the image below to view the list

Professors don't control or maintain the list. Instead, it's automatically updated many times a day. Your web page will only be listed if there is a page called index.htm or index.html in your inetpub folder in your MyFiles (H:) space. In EDUC 200, we refer to this page as your "outer index".

When you add an outer index, your name may not appear on the list immediately. Check back later.

By the way, once your page is listed, search engines like Google can find it. Your page may not be the first search result. Search engines use complicated systems to "rank" web pages.

Regardless of whether your page is listed, you should always be able to access your page directly. The address is:

students.uwsp.edu/login

where login is your UWSP login (and the first part of your email address), like

students.uwsp.edu/kbuch111

If your name isn't listed or you can't access your page, you need to contact the Help Desk (LRC 023, x4357).
