Mentor Teaching Academy

Experienced teachers can appreciate the challenges that new teachers must face. Being a mentor to a beginning teacher gives veteran teachers the opportunity to share their valuable knowledge and insights with newer teachers who will benefit from their support and guidance. These partnerships are critical to the future of our profession.

The purpose of the Mentor Academy is to deepen understanding of quality mentoring, to develop mentoring skills, and to examine the characteristics of effective mentor programs.
