Course: ADVE 397/597 - Implementing Experiential Learning in the Classroom

Description: This course will investigate the history and rational of Adventure Education as it applies to the K-12 environment. Students will study different learning styles, group dynamics and facilitation skills. Students will be exposed to icebreakers, games, cooperative/action learning activities, and personal challenge activities. In addition, the class will look at the various available venues in the area that are conducive to Adventure programming.  

Additional coursework required for 3rd credit.
