Course Description
This course explores current issues in the professional field of
health promotion and wellness. Class readings, discussions and
participation/analysis of various presentations at the National
Wellness Conference will contribute to the up-dating and development
of professional skills.

The student rates for the main
conference are:
Current NWI student member = $325
Non-NWI student member = $385
Annual student membership fee = $59
UWSP Dietetics, Family & Consumer Sciences, and Health Promotion undergrad students or Human and Community Resources and Nutritional Sciences masters students may apply for a conference fee waiver. Students must apply for fee waivers by submitting a short, 1-page application that is due to the School of Health Promotion & Human Development, 101 CPS, by May 10, 2010.
