Parents/Guardians:
As part of the Women and Science Day at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point that your child will be attending, she will be asked to complete a survey both before and after she attends the program. This survey will assess her interest in math and science and attitudes toward the fields (such as self-confidence in the subjects and how much she feels that the subject is important). The survey given after the event will also ask her to evaluate the event and indicate her favorite and least favorite aspects. Your child’s participation is entirely voluntary and she may skip any questions that she does not wish to answer.
If you would not like your child to complete this survey or if you have any questions, please contact me at Erica.Weisgram@uwsp.edu. Thank you, Erica Weisgram, Assistant Professor, UWSP
