Earlier this year, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services commissioned an infrastructure study of Wisconsin's publicly funded Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service System. The study project will be presented and discussed at the Mental Health and Substance Abuse (MH/SA) Infrastructure Summit to be held on Thursday, December 3 in Stevens Point, WI.
This Summit will be the beginning of the dialogue needed about the future of the publicly financed and delivered MH/SA system in Wisconsin. At the Summit, you will have an opportunity to receive an overview of the study, hear from representatives of other states, and discuss the potential models for financing the MH/SA system during breakout sessions. A link to download the study report will be provided after November 17th.
We expect 250 to 300 county and state officials, consumers and other key system stakeholders at the Summit. We look forward to seeing you in Stevens Point on December 3rd.
