This chandelier is brightly lit using Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs (CFL's). The next photo shows an upclose photo of the CFL's.

Notice every roof has solar panels on it which warms water that is stored in the blue barrels. This water is warmed by the sun and used for purposes such as bathing, washing clothes and dishes.

As you can see in this photo, clothes are hung outside to dry instead of being dried in a clothes dryer. Hanging clothes outside to dry saves a lot of energy as well as money.

Wind energy is increasing in China, as well as other countries. Wind energy is a clean, renewable energy source.
