Computer Requirements

Because you are reading this, you probably have or are capable of having the computer technology needed to enroll in NRES 735 Renewable Energy Education Online.

The main body of this course is delivered completely on-line so you must be connected to an Internet service provider (ISP). A recent Internet browser is recommended.

Firefox

Safari

There will also be instructor to student, student to instructor, and student to student communications. This will occur through Email and discussion links on the course website. A UWSP Email account and access to interactive software are available to all registered participants.

If you are on a modem and have problems opening documents you should save them to your hard drive and open them from there so that they open faster.

Browser Requirements: For Windows: Internet Explorer 8 or greater, Firefox 5.0 or greater, Chrome (newest) For Mac: Firefox 5.0 or greater, Safari 4.0 or greater.
