- Advises homeowners and communities on drinking water quality and
groundwater issues. Provides assistance in interpreting
drinking water test results.
- Assists Wisconsin communities with
groundwater education strategies and collection of water quality data through community-wide
well water testing programs.
- Presents educational programs for citizen groups, local
officials or educators on the basics of groundwater occurrence and
movement and local groundwater issues.
- Organizes and conducts
workshops for teachers on using the sand-tank groundwater flow model
as an instructional tool for groundwater education.
- Works with UW-Extension faculty and staff to develop and
disseminate groundwater information to communities and citizens
around Wisconsin.
- Serves on the Education Subcommittee of the Wisconsin
Groundwater Coordinating Council.
